Charles "Skip" Eden - Certified Master Inspector
After years of work in building trades in 2003 Skip decided to go back to school and take a Home Inspection Course. Since completing that course with a 96% average, he has been constantly upgrading his education. In 2010 he was able to reach the 1000 inspection mark and join the ranks of "Certified Master Inspector".-
The great friendship with Roy & Char over the years has lead to him coming on board at "Roy's Home Inspection" in Aug. 2010. This was to help lighten the load as Char wanted to retire and Roy wanted to do fewer inspections. This gave "Roy" more time to devote to his role as "Online Advisor" in many of the internet forums dedicated to the improvement of the "Home Inspector Industry" & Fellow Inspector across North America. Now after a year together "Skip" was very honoured when he was asked to take over the company and become Owner and Chief Inspector.
- Some of the recent courses he has taken are:
- Ontario Building Code Part 9 The house as a Building Structure
- Ontario Building Code Part 9 The house Health and Safety
- Completed all the membership requirements of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors
- Completed requirements for CMI in fall of 2010
- Over the years they have attended over 100 Mini Seminars in both Canada and the USA. They continue to attend these on a very regular basis.
